Special Medical Fund
While the cost of sponsorship covers basic medical expenses, occasionally children suffer from more serious illnesses or injuries requiring special medical attention. To address these needs, Africa New Life has created the Special Medical Fund, which covers needs such as surgery, vitamin deficiencies, and more.
Food and Care
Food in Rwanda becomes more expensive each year, and Africa New Life will serve 2.5 million meals this year. To ensure the best care possible for kids and for families in crisis, we need your help! Every dollar buys food for our students and their families.
Women's Programs
Our New Life Family Center offers a one-year vocational training program that provides employable skills in sewing or cosmetology, and childcare for children, all infused with Christian discipleship. Each year this program moves 80-95 women and their young children toward a better life.
Helping Hand
The Helping Hand Fund covers the cost of sponsored children whose sponsors, for whatever reason, can no longer commit to providing for their education. This fund covers the cost of sponsorship including school fees until a new sponsor is found. This fund is vital, because children without sponsorship funds must eventually be removed from school.
Impact Fund
Your gift to Africa New Life’s Impact Fund (general fund) makes the transformation of lives in Rwanda possible. A gift to the Impact Fund can be used wherever opportunities or needs arise, whether in Rwanda or here in the U.S. It allows Africa New Life to be the most responsive when we need to be. We believe the Impact Fund is the most strategic and timely investment you can make. Thank you for helping this ministry grow!

LEMONS FOR MEALS

Hi!

We’re the Keenan & Hassler Kids! On Tuesday, July 16th we will be hosting our first Lemons for Meals Lemonade Stand Fundraiser to raise support for Africa New Life’s food program. We chose this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to our parents.

Our goal is to raise $1,000! This will provide more than 1,200 meals at Africa New Life schools in Rwanda! And we all know that school lunch allows our brains to be fueled to learn!

Not every kid get’s to have food. Every kid should get to have a full tummy. And everyone loves lemonade. It’s fun to get to help other kids. Maybe one day we can meet them and drink lemonade with them too.

Since we know a lot of our friends and family cannot physically attend our lemonade stand, we wanted to extend this option to give supporters the opportunity to participate in our event as a virtual participant. Pretty cool huh! Of course we would rather see you all in person. So please come by Tuesday, July 16th from 11-1pm!

A little about Africa New Life’s Food Program:

It’s awesome! In 2018, they provided approx. 2.3 million meals to children and families in their programs.That’s a big number. It costs $0.83 per meal. Another cool fact is they buy food, ship food, and grow food. Isn’t that neat.

The least we can do is get creative and try to make a difference one lemonade cup at a time.
