By staying connected with your sponsored student, you are communicating the message of Jesus Christ in word and deed and deepening the impact of your sponsorship. Learn about the different ways you can engage with and support your sponsored student, their family, and their community below.
We believe in the power of intercessory prayer for sponsored students, their families, and their communities. We’ve developed a 12-Month Prayer Guide with prompts for each month of the year with ideas of how to prayerfully come alongside your student and their family.
Your sponsorship support provides hope and encouragement to your sponsored student and their family.
Ordering a gift through our Online Store is one way to care for your sponsored student and their family further. For recommendations of what to order, visit our gift ideas page. Gifts are also welcomed for students who are not sponsored or whose sponsors cannot give. Simply select an item and click the box next to “A Student in Need,” and our colleagues in Rwanda will make sure it gets to a student who will most benefit from it.
We love encouraging relationships between sponsors and students through letter writing! You are welcome to write up to four times a year and will receive a reply letter from your student each time you write. Not sure what to write about? Visit our writing tips page.
