Miles for the Dream Medical Center
I am committing to walking/jogging/running 42 miles from September to December to help raise funds for the Africa New Life Medical Center. In summer 2016 I spent a week in Kigali, Rwanda and completely fell in love with the country, and with Africa New Life Ministries. I have seen first hand what this ministry is doing in the lives of so many. While we were there we got to see the new Dream Hospital under construction, and it was so amazing to see what God is doing through this ministry.
*The Dream Medical Center will be open for the public, creating sustainable income to serve the poor.
*The Dream Medical Center will provide surgical, post-operative and rehabilitative care for students with special needs.
*The Dream Center Medical Center staff will share the good news of Jesus Christ with every patient.
*The Dream Medical Center will serve as the hub for 4-6 U.S. medical teams annually.
*The Dream Medical Center will serve as the central training and support site for medical strategy, supervising New Life Nurses, who serve 8,000 sponsored children in five communities.
Some friends of mine are climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in January to raise funds for the dream medical center. And even though it was on my heart to climb with them, the timing is not right in my life right now with two small kiddos. 🙂 However, I am super excited to support them here in the states!
For every dollar raised on my campaign, I will match the dollar amount up to $5,000. This is just a small portion of what is needed to get the hospital up and running. Please consider coming along side me to support a ministry I love.
