When you sign up to sponsor a child, it is set up in our system as a sponsorship pledge. This means that you are “pledging” to support this child each month for as long as you can.

If you are not paying electronically, you will receive a pledge progress statement at the beginning of each month, when there is money “due” on your pledge to make it current. This acts as a reminder to you. If you are ahead on your pledge, or if you are set up to pay automatically with a credit, debit or EFT transaction, you will not receive a statement.
