Team Trip/Church Administrator

Reports to: Ministry Partnerships Director

Position Type: Full-time, hourly

Required Travel: One trip to Rwanda


Position Summary

The Team Trip/Church Administrator is responsible to organize, facilitate and communicate all details of team trips.? S/he communicates regularly with team leaders, the Rwandan Missions Manager and the Ministry Partnerships Director to create trip experiences that are meaningful and beneficial to both ANLM and team members.? The Team Trip/Church Administrator supports the Ministry Partnership Director with tasks such as organizing and preparing Dream Sunday material.? In addition, s/he may at times help to support the ANLMI office with general administrative tasks.


The Team Trip/Church Administrator will require the following areas of leadership:



  • Effectively communicate with Rwanda about team facilitation in Rwanda, not limited to but including, flight schedules, individual team biographies, gifting, team-sponsored children, as well as on-the-ground itineraries
  • Communicate with church and strategic partners in such a way that strengthens their relationship with ANLM
  • Using the Team Trip Manual, equip team leaders to properly educate teams on all aspects of trip expectations, goals, preparation, and cultural sensitivity
  • Collaborate with the Ministry Partnership Director in developing the team budget as well as working with a travel agent to purchase airfare
  • Communicate with various interested parties who have questions and are seeking insight into traveling with ANLM on a team trip
  • Effectively communicate with partner churches in preparation for Dream Sundays
  • Follow up with partner churches after Dream Sundays to collect all necessary information


  • Work with the Ministry Partnership Director to maintain the annual mission’s calendar, updating as necessary and keeping a current calendar at least 12 months in advance
  • Create and coordinate team itineraries for trips, working with team leaders and Rwandan staff to finalize details
  • Follow and support the U.S. Office Responsibilities checklist
  • Prepare a final re-cap sheet with the specific financial wire details for the U.S. Director of Operations and the Finance Manager
  • Prepare team budgets and make sure funds are submitted to the U.S. office on time
  • Ensure team leader is equipped with all proper resources and team information/handouts/documents
  • Set up online support raising infrastructure for each team
  • Send updates to team members raising support through ANLM
  • Maintain a list of individuals who are interested in team travel, connecting them with current team leads
  • Assist the Ministry Partnerships Director and Child Sponsorship team in preparing Dream Sunday material



  • Bachelor’s degree or the experiential equivalent
  • Experience with project management, cross-cultural communication and/or arranging international travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities, details and teams simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Previous travel to Rwanda is an asset
