Charles Mugisha Buregeya is the Founder and President of Africa New Life Ministries. He is married to Florence and they have two sons Isaac and Jonathan and a daughter Sarah. While in college Charles and Florence shared a vision of taking the gospel to the nations and also reaching out to children of the genocide in Rwanda. After their college graduation God led them to continue their studies at Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland, OR where both of them graduated with Masters degrees in 2003. During their studies at Multnomah, they started Africa New Life Ministries with the help of friends in Oregon and Texas, to respond to the challenging needs in Africa.

From 1990 to 2000, Charles served as Associate Pastor of Gaba Community Church in Uganda. He also served as one of the founding directors of Africa Renewal Ministries in Uganda and worked as a Project Director for Compassion International assisted project in Gaba. He is also an evangelist associated with Luis Palau's Next Generation Alliance, an association of emerging international evanglists. Charles has extensive experience leading missions, evangelistic crusades and directing sponsorship programs for the care of disadvantaged children.

Charles is a dynamic speaker and has spoken to groups in Uganda, Rwanda, Ireland, England, India, and the USA. He is an advocate and voice for the poor and oppressed in Rwanda and Central Africa.
