Books Arrive in Rwanda

Today the books for the future Rwanda Evangelical School of Theology (R.E.S.T) arrived in Kigali. Multnomah University sent more than 16,000 books and Portland Christian Schools donated many desks. Construction on R.E.S.T. should begin next year!
Hundreds of Street Children Accept Christ

About 1,000 older street children live in Iwawa, an island on Lake Kivu in Western Rwanda. The Rwandan government moved them there to get them off of the streets of Kigali and to give them vocational training—a chance for changing their future.
Last month, some sponsored college students who have grown up in Africa New Life’s program felt God’s leading to go to Iwawa and share the gospel with these young men. (more…)
Church in Kageyo Completed

Last week a team of men from Immanuel Bible Church in Virginia worked alongside street children in Africa New Life’s vocational training program to build the New Life Bible Church in Kageyo!
After hours of hard work, the church is completed and the people of Kageyo have a place to worship and hear the Word of God.
God is doing great things in Rwanda!

7,000 Children Call the Streets of Rwanda “HOME”…
