Good stewardship of God’s gifts is of the utmost importance at Africa New Life, and transparency with our finances keeps us accountable to you!
General Ministry Fund
Africa New Life supports thousands of children, women and their families in Rwanda, but so many more need help. Your gift of any amount to the General Ministry Fund makes it possible for more and more children in Rwanda to be helped.
Currently, our US office has six full time employees and two part-time employees, who support approximately 150 staff in Rwanda. They serve and care for 3,500 children and vulnerable women, three churches, two schools, six orphanages, and two secondary school dormitories within three separate Rwandan communities, as well as the soon-to-be-opened Rwanda Evangelical School of Theology in Kigali.
Child Sponsorship
When you commit to sponsoring your child all the way through his or her secondary school graduation, over the span of sponsorship, approximately 90% of these funds goes directly to the child sponsorship program in Rwanda. Each child in the sponsorship program receives a pair of shoes, a school uniform, books and school supplies, and a basic medical insurance plan. Each child also gets to attend the bi-monthly Center Day Discipleship Program, which includes meals and the four day Bible Camp in December. In some cases, like Kageyo, sponsorship funds a daily meal at school and provides the program director with a small amount for community development projects, such as farming or clean water development.
Special Project, Program and Capital Campaign Donations
Ninety percent of all funds designated by a donor for a specific campaign or project goes directly to support that project in Rwanda (e.g. Light the Streets Campaign, building projects).
Rwanda Mission/Vision Teams
Our US office requires an administrative fee for each mission/vision team member that goes to Rwanda. This fee is used to help cover costs of facilitation and preparation as your team prepares to leave the US. We also use the fee to send a US representative to accompany most teams during their stay in Rwanda.
